DOD SBIR 2019.1 | STTR 2019.A Topics are Out!

DoD released its first SBIR|STTR topics of FY 2019 for review and questions and there are some incredible topics for additive manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, big data, AI|ML, textiles, etc. Several of the topics are broad - meaning you can propose a specific problem you are interested in solving. A few of the topics call for a 3 month Phase I with a rapid move into Phase II. Typically, DoD uses these abbreviated Phase I SBIRs for products and services it wants to fast track into production.

Please review the topics and let me know if you are interested in pursuing any of them either on your own, or with a team from industry and academia.
